A famous chain of churros around Mexico City. When you get a fresh batch, it's the best.
A bar at the 38th floor of the Sofitel hotel. Great view of the city and a fun vibe.
Found a vegan taco stand and of course I had to go try it.
Went for a tequila tasting that fun, but ultimately I don't think we would go back. The food was overpriced.
Best place for breakfast in Coyoacan. Their salsa is out of this world and adds the perfect amount of flavor to any dish.
A restaurant right next to the town square in Coyoacan. Perfect place to stop by when you want a break from walking around the area.
Listed as a top 50 bar in the world, it definitely needs a reservation to avoid long wait times. The drink menu was interesting but nothing really stood out as top tier here. The cocktails were good but often times felt more like a fruit juice than a cocktail.
Get on the canals of Mexico City and enjoy time with friends. You can hire a mariachi band as they float by you to get a quick serenade going.
Found a highly rated Indian fusion restaurant that was delicious. It's a small place, but the food was spot on and filled the belly.
A speakeasy with live music that is kind of in its own part of Mexico City. I was a little worried about the area when walking to it, but once inside it large and completely safe. Perhaps get a taxi to drop you off.
The ritziest part of Mexico City with tons of high end shops and restaurants. It was a very large contrast to other areas like Roma Norte.
Part of the Rosetta brand, this is their Italian restaurant. Loved all the pasta dishes and had to order all the desserts.
Gorgeous hotel that decorates to the nines during Day of the Dead.
Made the mistake of getting tacos to go to avoid the long line. It didn't travel well, so next time wait it out and eat there.
Beautiful statue that I commonly used to navigate and figure out where I was.
Didn't stay at the hotel, but their restaurant on their roof was a fun experience. Their palomo negra was full of activated charcoal.
Lucha Libre! It's an experience you can't miss. The event happens on Tuesdays and Fridays so plan ahead and get your tickets for prime seating.
A fun place to walk around with plenty of shops and people watching. Check out the opera house and other iconic buildings.
A fun cozy bar with live music and a lively atmosphere.
Beautiful park in the heart of Mexico City. The castle is definitely worth checking out.
The bar inside the Four Seasons. It's a gorgeous hotel and the bar definitely holds true what you would expect from them.
One of the top restaurants in the world and it lived up to it. Got in by putting our name on a waiting list, but recommend making a reservation a month or more in advance. The tasting menu is delicious and the wine pairing was done superbly.
THE bakery to go to in Mexico City. Lines can get long but it moves quickly. You can't go wrong with anything but if you go in October, get the Pan de Muerto!
Great place for late night tacos.
An offshoot of Pujol that specializes in their tortillas. I was surprised that the menu is 100% vegetarian. Their enmoladas were my favorite; a simple dish with tortillas covered in mole sauce.
Museum dedicated to the life & works of Frida Kahlo located at her bright-blue former home.
